California Notice at Collection

This Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA").

Categories of Personal Information We Collect

• Identifiers: name, email, IP address, account ID.
• Customer records: account credentials (hashed), profile picture.
• Commercial information: subscription status, transaction records.
• Internet activity: pages visited, mode usage, referring URLs (with consent).
• Professional information: resume content, job history, target roles (provided by you).
• Inferences: aggregated usage patterns to improve the Service.

Purposes

• Provide, secure, and improve the Service.
• Process payments through Stripe.
• Communicate with you about your account.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Sources

• Directly from you (signup, resume input, uploads).
• Automatically via your device (IP, browser, usage data).
• From service providers (e.g., Google OAuth if you sign in with Google).

Do We Sell or Share Personal Information?

No. CareerRaze does NOT sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you explicitly opt in via the Marketing cookies toggle.

Your California Rights

• Right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell/share.
• Right to delete personal information we collect from you.
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information.
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Submit your request via the in-app chat widget (bottom-right on every page). In the message, include: (a) your account email, and (b) the specific request in the format "CCPA REQUEST — [access | delete | correct | opt-out]". We will respond within 45 days as required by law. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Because we do not sell your personal information, no opt-out is technically necessary. To opt out of any marketing-cookie-based sharing that could be considered "sharing" under CCPA, click the "Cookie settings" link in the footer and disable Marketing cookies.
